LENTRY units illuminate any outdoor scene, making flaggers and other crew easy to see, lighting roadwork and construction projects, and powering critical communication and computer systems during emergencies. They do not require batteries but can be used to charge batteries and battery-powered tools. For emergency preparedness, LENTRY Systems are must-haves.
LENTRY systems are currently in use by public utilities, airports, port authorities, hospitals, prisons, military, disaster services, towing companies, investigators, journalists, railroad companies, contractors, fire/rescue, law enforcement, and departments of transportation. We have received inquiries from many more fields as the potential of LENTRY Systems is discovered.
A Fire Department recently reported to us that their LENTRY unit is perfect for leaving on-scene with their fire marshall for investigations. It quietly lights the whole scene and is small enough he can simply bring it back with him when finished. Here are some examples of where the cordless light and backup electricity is being utilized. . .
- Wrecker service - used to light accidents and wrecks on the roadway as towing company/tow truck loads.
- Runway repair (crews told us of using a LENTRY on their truck as they make nighttime repairs to the runway on an AFB / military landing strip)
- Sobriety stop / DUI check point lighting / DWI checkpoints
- Fish traps! Often caught in the dark, fish and wildlife can use a small, portable LENTRY unit to light the entire area, greatly increasing safety and the ease with which they can finish the job.
- Crime scene investigation (Coroners, sheriffs departments and other law enforcement...)
- Safety lighting for highway flaggers, rescue personnel and recovery at accident scenes, traffic control lighting and more (extra tall XT models especially). Keep roadside workers safe and seen.
- Used by prisons, airports and other facilities where power continuity and lighting is crucial.
- Large-scale emergency scene lighting, for example triage incidents, mass casualty scenes.
- Water rescue / swift-water rescue (riverbanks, hills and rocks are no obstacle)
- Trenchwork (Water districts, public utilities are telling us lots of uses!)
- Nighttime filming and videography
- Homeland security and border patrol
- U.S. Military at home and overseas
- Utility maintenance
- Disaster relief and recovery
- Search and Rescue lights
- Construction site lighting
- Law enforcement (stows in trunk)
- Trench rescue
- Nighttime videography (light to film by)
- Fire fighting
- Emergency scene lighting
- Truck-mounted lighting, thanks to mounting hardware (click here)
- Road crews and highway projects
- Cemeteries
- Farming and agriculture
- Provide power and light in unwired barns and outbuildings
- Recreation - Use in your RV, Camper, 5th Wheel, Motorhome, Boat, Cabin
- Boating - waterfront, dockside, at sea!
- Shelter at home (backup power for your home during extended outages)
“We assembled the units and they look great. I am impressed with how sturdy the assemblies are, much more than I anticipated [...] I just wanted you to know what a pleasure it was working with you and I hope to do additional business with you in the future.” ~ Sergeant with the Crime Scene Unit of a County Sheriff's Office |
Tip: No need to buy bigger and bigger generators. Two LENTRY units can be run in parallel for twice the power without getting a huge generator. Call for info! |

Click above photo to see pictures. Above: Ken and James responded to an emergency call and found the fireboat battery dead! A LENTRY unit is used to recharge the battery and they were able to respond.

Choose the height of the LENTRY Light(s):
standard or XT (extra tall).
For twice the light, choose Dual or 2-Headed XT lights.

Above, James uses the smallest LENTRY unit, an EU1000i with single standard height light while he completes an evening siding project.

LENTRY Units provide remote lighting AND make great margaritas.
