Oregon balloonist Bill Woodhead contacted us this year, asking about the capabilities of VENTRY Fans for inflating a very large hot air balloon - 246,000 cubic feet! He was planning a flight overseas in Israel and did not want to ship more equipment than necessary.

He ended up taking only one inflator fan with him, a 24-inch GX200 VENTRY Fan (24GX200), shown at right and above right.

Bill shared with us over email...
“Finally got home and recovering from the travel. Everything went great in Israel.
Your fan was able to inflate the ARKY balloon by itself. We use two eight HP inflator fans at home. I really liked the ability to elevate the fan to keep from blowing dirt or, in the case of Israel, sand into the balloon. [...]

He later confirmed that the two 8-hp fans he uses at home are also 28-inchers, 4 inches longer than VENTRY.
