JUNE 2010: Safety Light option availability has changed. Please call or CLICK HERE for details!

Can the Point of Entry Safety Light be added to existing fans?

The Safety Light can not be added to existing fans because, unless the light was selected at the time of order, the engine will not have the internal power supply necessary.

The optional articulated Top Safety Light (also referred to as the POE Light, for Point of Entry) is available at the time of order on VENTRY Fans with GX160 and GX200 motors. (The POE Light is also available on new GX120 fans, while our supply of special motors lasts.)

Two GX-series engines are available with or without an alternator to power the light. If the light is not chosen as an option at the time the order is placed, an engine without the alternator is used. GX-series engines with this power supply are significantly more expensive than those without, which is why the Safety Light option is priced as it is.

Customer feedback on the light has been excellent.

For more details on the light, please see our Options page and download the fan Specs & Options sheet from the Downloads page.
